Statement Of Intention

I picked Elizabeth Bennet to represent the women in the 1800’s. I did this because back in the 1800’s, women’s opinions were not valued as highly as mens, and I thought that with such a well-known and outspoken character such as Elizabeth, I would be able to give her a voice, and also give women of the 1800’s a voice.
My audience would be all women from around that time, and around the ages of 18 to 25. Elizabeth was around this age when Pride & Prejudice was written, and so this is my intended audience.
